La Cara de México (The Face of Mexico) is a series created in collaboration with friend and fellow artist Shara Harel. Using the classic "exquisite corpse" method, we divided our faces in half, and then painted them "blind" (meaning you couldn't see the other's work). Each thematic experiment was a sort of meditation on and celebration of the myth, magic, and madness of Mexico. The pieces were all painted on spanish language book pages.
