Fish, Birds, Buddhas
Ancient philosopher Lao-Tzu wrote “be content with what you have; rejoice in the way things are. When you realize there is nothing lacking, the whole world belongs to you”. These are beautiful and not always easy-to-live-by words. Art, for me, is a form of training and meditation. The consistent appearance of such things as fish, birds, and buddhas is testament to my own quirky and imperfect practice of staying present.
